GeoLira is designed for keyboard navigation, visible focus, reduced-motion preferences, responsive layouts and semantic status messaging. Accessibility remains an ongoing product requirement rather than a one-time checklist.
Keyboard, focus and status messaging
The GeoLira shell includes a skip link to main content, keyboard navigation, visible focus and Escape handling for the mobile menu. The active route receives aria-current, route changes move focus to the page title, and form messages and connection state use semantic status regions. The meditation timer avoids continuous screen-reader announcements and uses a separate polite status announcer.
Motion, contrast, touch and mobile layout
Styles respect prefers-reduced-motion and forced-colors. Core interactive controls have a 44 px minimum height, checkbox and radio controls have their own minimum target size, and focus outlines are not deliberately removed. The application shell does not disable browser zoom. Layout contracts cover multiple mobile breakpoints and guard charts, media and long content against horizontal overflow.
Scope of testing and reporting barriers
GeoLira does not load an external accessibility widget as a substitute for application semantics. Automated gates check focus behavior, ARIA state, reduced motion, forced colors, heading structure and related contracts, but they are not a claim of certified compatibility with every assistive-technology configuration. A useful accessibility report names the route, affected control, interaction method and assistive technology in use.
