Foundation

The contact page is the place for operator details, data-quality reports, accessibility feedback and support requests. Production operator contact information is completed as part of the final launch configuration.

What you can report

GeoLira contact covers four main areas: data or source discrepancies, service defects, accessibility feedback, and account or privacy matters. A useful data-quality report includes the affected view, approximate observation time, visible source_id or provider name, and a description of the discrepancy. This allows the report to be traced to a specific record instead of only to a screenshot.

Operator details are fail-closed until confirmed

The interface renders an operator profile only after configuration is explicitly marked confirmed and contains at least the legal name, jurisdiction and contact email. Optional fields include public name, privacy contact, postal address, registration identifier and a contact URL. If a confirmed profile is not available, GeoLira does not manufacture placeholder operator details.

What to include and what not to send

A technical report is easier to reproduce when it includes the route, approximate time, browser and device, steps that trigger the problem and a screenshot without sensitive information. Do not send passwords, login codes, API tokens, private keys or the full contents of a private journal. Privacy matters should use the dedicated privacy contact when one is present in the confirmed operator profile.
