Community Trends is a dedicated GeoLira view for this part of the observatory. It combines the route-specific interface with the same source, freshness, privacy and evidence boundaries used across the platform.
Trends compare aggregates across different time windows
Community Trends uses the same self-reports as Community Pulse and compares available 1 h, 24 h and 7 day windows. A result is available from the first eligible response in each compared window. With one or a few responses, the trend is preliminary and can change sharply as more check-ins arrive.
A change in the aggregate does not describe one person
A rise in average mood or a fall in tension does not say what happened to any particular participant. The cohort can change between windows, country is self-reported and participation is voluntary. The trend should therefore be read as a description of the active community sample, not as a representative survey of an entire population.
Temporal similarity does not establish causation
Community trends can be viewed alongside environmental data, but GeoLira does not interpret visual similarity as proof that the environment caused a reported feeling. Community and science layers remain separate. Personal exploration uses a different private correlation tool with explicit methods and minimum pair counts.
