Earth Pulse is a 0-100 authored index built from six explicitly weighted signals. A current result appears only when canonical data meet coverage, confidence and freshness requirements. When a new result cannot be supported honestly, GeoLira shows the last valid result only as historical.
Earth Pulse is a 0-100 authored index
Earth Pulse combines several verified environmental signals into one at-a-glance product index. In version 1.0 the base components are Schumann Activity Index 30%, Kp 21%, IMF Bz 14%, solar-wind speed 15%, density 5% and X-ray 15%. A missing component is not substituted as zero; it reduces coverage.
Coverage and confidence tell you how much evidence is present
Coverage describes how much of the base weight has usable data, while confidence incorporates quality and freshness. A result can be UNAVAILABLE, PARTIAL or AVAILABLE. The minimum publication threshold is 60% coverage and 50% confidence, while AVAILABLE requires 90% and 75% respectively. The public view treats a canonical Earth Pulse as current for only 15 minutes. Without a certified Schumann component, maximum coverage is 0.70.
It is not a frequency or a health measurement
Earth Pulse is a dimensionless authored index. It must not be presented as Hz, field amplitude, a literal vibration of Earth or a medical signal. Its role is to organize several sources into a transparent status. Scientific interpretation still requires inspection of the underlying components, units, providers and timestamps.
