Community Methodology is a dedicated GeoLira view for this part of the observatory. It combines the route-specific interface with the same source, freshness, privacy and evidence boundaries used across the platform.
The evidence class is community self-report
The base community record has evidence class COMMUNITY_SELF_REPORT. That means a participant describes a feeling or behavior rather than measuring an environmental quantity. Individual submissions stay non-public, do not contain precise location or account identity, and are retained for a bounded period under the retention policy.
Community Pulse has an explicit formula and thresholds
The index uses six fields: energy, mood, sleep quality, calm, tension and creativity. Each has equal weight 1/6, 1-5 scores are normalized to 0-100 and tension is inverted. Public aggregation is available from the first eligible submission and a category from its first response. As more check-ins arrive, the result becomes the mean of the current sample. Supported windows are 1 h, 24 h and 7 days.
The method deliberately does not claim representativeness or causation
Participation is voluntary, so the sample may differ from the overall population. Country code is self-reported and the current abuse filter is structural. GeoLira does not treat Community Pulse as epidemiology, diagnosis or proof that Kp, Schumann or another environmental metric affects people. It is a structured summary of the available self-report cohort.
