Sacred Places is a dedicated GeoLira view for this part of the observatory. It combines the route-specific interface with the same source, freshness, privacy and evidence boundaries used across the platform.
Documented facts and traditions are labeled separately
The sacred-place catalog distinguishes DOCUMENTED_FACT from TRADITION_BELIEF. Published content is version controlled and requires sources, while runtime does not fetch it live from arbitrary external webpages. Historical, geographic or archaeological information is therefore not silently blended with local symbolic tradition.
GeoLira does not claim to measure sacred energy
The contract disables scientific_measurement_claimed and sacred_energy_measured. A place can have religious, cultural or traditional meaning without being presented as a reading of physical energy. The platform also does not infer medical effects or causation merely from visiting a location.
User suggestions require moderation
A user can suggest a fact correction, tradition context, source or other editorial change. A suggestion is limited to 1500 characters, does not collect owner identity and is never auto-published. Catalog locations must rely on public sources. Suggestions currently have a 365 day retention period.
